The course covers basic research in molecular biology, biotechnology and applications in horticultural production systems. Precision Farming

Precision farming is an emerging field which combines the fields of agricultural sciences, computer science, mechatronics and social sciences. Students are trained in specialist areas as agricultural sciences, computer science and digitization, mechatronics and automation, environmental information systems. The students are trained to plan and develop agricultural production, keeping and conversion systems, evaluate data and support agricultural decision-making processes. Graduates of the Precision Farming technology course will take on tasks in agricultural businesses, service providers and manufacturers of agricultural machines and systems.


Phytotechnology deals with applied research and engineering in the production, trade and use of horticultural products.
